Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead QA Specialist to join our team and take ownership of the quality assurance program. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manual testing, with some experience in automation testing being a valuable bonus. As the QA lead, you will be instrumental in establishing and managing QA processes, ensuring software quality, and driving best practices to deliver top-tier solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Lead QA Initiatives

  • Design, implement, and manage the QA strategy, ensuring all deliverables meet high-quality standards.

  • Define and enforce testing standards, methodologies, and best practices across projects.


Manual and Automated Testing

  • Conduct detailed manual testing for web and mobile applications.

  • Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to implement automated testing where applicable to enhance coverage and efficiency.


Quality Assurance Processes

  • Develop test plans, cases, and scripts tailored to project requirements.

  • Ensure thorough regression, integration, and performance testing.

  • Document and track bugs effectively, providing actionable feedback to the development team.


Leadership and Collaboration:

  • Mentor and guide QA team members to build a cohesive and efficient team.

  • Act as the primary liaison between QA, development teams, and project stakeholders to ensure clear communication and alignment.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a QA Specialist, with expertise in manual testing and some exposure to automation tools.

  • Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.

  • Experience in leading QA programs or teams.

  • Ability to analyze and troubleshoot complex software systems.

  • Experience in testing web and mobile applications.

  • Familiarity with test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress).

  • Knowledge of Agile development methodologies.

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

  • A proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.

  • Proficient in English at a C1 level (professional fluency).
